When People Don’t Trust Us, It’s Better to Walk Away
There comes a point in life when we realize something painful - not everyone will trust us, no matter how genuine we are.
I used to believe that if I explained myself again and again, people would understand me. I thought if I proved my intentions, they would finally trust me. But I learned something the hard way: trust cannot be forced.
When someone has already decided not to trust you, no amount of explaining will change their mindset. Fighting for validation only drains your peace. And I have lost the patience to run behind people who are unsure about my worth.
Walking away is not weakness.
It is self-respect.
